Haha. Ok, ok, the Belalong trip was really fun and I'm glad I went. Thx guys for persuading me to go, even though I had an endless list of reasons not to go. The boat ride to Bangar was great. Why? Well, firstly there was no worm (The last time i went to Temburong there was a worm on the boat). Secondly, we had Fadhli and Munir to entertain us with their antics.
Then from Bangar we took a bus and then a temuai to Belalong. We were divided into different groups. Jing, Kel, Jances and I were in one group. The temuai ride was fun too because there was no centipede(yes, u guessed right, the last time i went there was a centipede on the temuai) and also because i got to splash the guys. Haha (A).
We reached the chalet in about half an hour. It was the same place that we stayed last time when we did PRYNSA. The place is actually so much cleaner now. We played a game to introduce ourselves. Jances said the sweetest thing. She said something like this - Hi, my name's Jances and (pointing to us) these are my 3 bestest friends. Fadhli said that earlier on he called us the abang group because all 4 of us were always together. chanel handbags He didnt know that we were best friends at that time and after finding out he started calling us the best friend group and then he called us ABBA. Haha. ABBA is a singing group who sang the smash hit Dancing Queen and because it comprised of 2 guys and 2 girls, just like us. So, everytime he walked pass us he would sing that song.
We settled down ate lunch and then left for the canopy walk. Gosh, climbing up endless flight of stairs was definitely a problem for me. So tiring! So i was glad when we finally reached the canopy. I was scared to go up but i decided to go instead. The person there told us to go in groups of 5 and when crossing the bridge in pairs. So, Kel went first and then Jances and then me and lastly Jing. Kel's legs were shaking when he was walking up because he was afraid of heights. Kel, I really have to salute u!. For being so brave. I have to admit that I was pretty terrified myself. Thoughts like what if I fell kept on popping up in my mind. The view from the top of the canopy walk was indescribable. So beautiful. We took a few pics and made our way down. Jances passed Jing our cameras to take pictures and Jing passed it to Kel. What happened was that Jing put my camera beside Kel's leg and he didnt know it was there. So after taking a picture using Jances's camera he moved his leg. And then....... MY CAMERA FELL!!!!!!! Yes it dropped and dropped and dropped and dropped. Without hesitation, Boon Jing walked down quickly to see if my camera was ok. Guess what?? He found it. Thank God and it was still working.
We went back to the chalet after that. On the way back, it started to rain heavily. Luckily, Jances and I were well prepared. We took out our raincoats and put them on. We were the only ones who brought them. So the other students were soaking wet. Jances told Kel and Jing to bring but they said what are the chances of it raining?
Because of the rain, we couldnt go to the waterfall. However, we would go there the next day instead. When it stopped raining, we went down to the river. The water was freezing cold and the current was really strong. So strong that even when Boon Jing tried swimming against the current he would move in the other direction instead. We played a few games. That night we had a group discussion about tourism ate dinner and then went back to the chalet. We played mafia and it was fun and funny. Everyone joined in. So about 23 ppl played. Fadhli and Mr. Ray George were very funny. We played until 12 +. Then we decided to get some sleep cause we have to wake up early the next morning.
Next morning, we woke up at 6.30 ate breakfast and left fot the waterfall. We had to walk there and it wasnt that easy because there wasnt a proper route to follow. I was so worried that i'd fall. Jing being the gentleman offered to carry my bag. Jances held my hand, making sure I wouldnt fall and Kel, being the 'leader' was telling us to watch out for this and that. Haha. Thanks guys!!
We reached the waterfall and it was beautiful. I managed to climb up the waterfall wif AZ and Munir's help. Thanks too! Going out was tough. Jances decided to help carry my bag this time. =) Thanks again. I actually fell a couple of times but Kel fell and hurt his arm pretty badly. When we reached the chalet, we took a shower, packed up and left. We had lunch in a park. Left Bangar and reached the jetty in BSB at about 2.30.
