Saturday, the 6th of May was the longest day in my entire life. It somehow seemed never-ending. I spent last weekend DOE-ing in Wales. We had to cover over 30 miles in the length of two days whilst carrying what I’d like to refer to as ‘the 15kg rug sack’.
The day only got worse when a friend of mine twisted her angle and had to practically ‘hop’ until the next checkpoint. I wasn’t doing too well myself. The rug sack was so heavy that I felt like as if I had the weight of the whole world on my shoulders. I can still remember vividly the marsh land we had to cross. It didn’t have a proper foot path. So, whenever I took a step, I’d sink and get drenched. Sharon was asking me if doing this is really worth it all. Gosh, chanel handbags I really didn’t expect it to be this tough. The real expedition is at the end of term and I don’t even want to think about it. My shoulder blades hurt. My muscles ache. My foot’s full of blisters. All I can say is that DOE has serious repercussions.
Anyway, life has been OK. I’m so knackered. Maths and Bio mocks are coming up very soon. So, the only thing that’s really motivating me to go through the week is seeing my parents on Saturday =) Ohh and also the fact that I’ll be seeing Jances - after 8 months!!!! We’re studying in the same country but we hardly see each other. Btw, thanks for calling me – I really needed to hear from you. Haha. Alrighty, I better get back to my revision plan. Toddles~
