Well, it started quite cold and sleepy. Andi was my tentmate, so he was naturally the first guy to say,"happy birthday haz". That day, I didn't fast, even though I was supposed to. I remember quarelling alot with my team about which routes to take that day. What made my day was getting a message from my brother and listening to Jan's nice voice message.
Memorable Things I did include: 1.Played a hell of alot of basketball games, selected vice captain 2. Went on two amazing treks 3. celebrated new year's at one of the world's best 4. PAINTBALL!!! 5. won bronze at a netball tourney 6. bought alot of crap 7. got into a couple of fights 8. didn't drink at all (??) 9. made friends with alot of people (this year, more than I knew in my life for 17 years combined) 10.touched natural snow for the first time 11. got food-poisoning twice 12. left a bag and caused a bomb scare at Victoria station and almost evacuated it 13. went clubbing once 14. chanel handbags learnt alot of life crap 15. Lost, prison break, the OC and one tree hill 14. went out to watch harry potter late and got grounded by my boarding house master for not signing out 15. watched the Rejects 16. evaded paying full travelling prices tons of times ( sorry tfl) 17. stayed illegally at a Bedford Boarding House for a night 18. got ejected from a game(=D)
Lessons I've learnt: 1. Materialism isn't everything 2. always be a low-profile person 3. take no bull-shit from anyone, and if they do, it's best to just avoid them 4. run away from cynicism, it'll only stress you out 5. always wear thick clothes when you're going out during winter (duh!) 6. wear protective gear when you're paintballing 7. calm down during basketball games, so as to not get technical fouls 8. white meat can also be pork 9. life's short so I should start living it to the max now!heyheyhey
