In this world, there is no such thing as getting what you want. You can only settle for less, maybe nothing even.

The Notebook was an amazing movie. Probably the best romantic movie I’ve ever seen. As tears trickled down my cheeks, (Yes I cried) I started thinking, “Can something like this ever happen in real life? A happy ending.”

The simple happy answer would be ‘Yes’. But in reality, pfft… dream on. I’m not saying Allie and Noah’s love was easy. Man, hard times… for both of them. But still, I have to say, I admire their undying love for each other. When you don’t give up, in seven years, you will get back together. That is my universal Notebook rule.

Just Like Heaven was a disappointment by the way. The ending spoilt everything.

The Last King of Scotland was amazing. Scary. And top-class.

I was recently shocked with this recent revelation. But I shan’t disclose any names. I know this person. He is in a dilemma. Well, sort of. He was lucky enough, not long ago, to find his significant other. A week after that, one of his closest friends, chanel handbags and I mean, real close, confessed her love for this guy. Yes, that’s right. He is ‘taken’ but his really close friend is in love with him. So, I was talking to this person, and we came by an interesting question:

“Do you… pick the scenario where a lot of great things can and will happen, or do you pick the other where great things are already happening and will peak no more?”

I’ll leave you guys to answer it yourselves.

My friend picked the first and he lost a very valuable friend. Sad. She does not talk to him anymore and I feel for him. Losing a friend is painful. Trust me.

But you know, Spiderman 3 is coming out this Friday, so at least there's one thing to be happy about. Oh, and I don't know how you can check online, but me and my basketball mates were recently pictured in the South London Press. It's not The Sun, but at least DC Basketball is headlining somewhere. Heh.
