I can cross off another thing in my 'Things to do before I die" list. I finally got the chance to watch Roddick play! I had my fingers crossed that we'll get to see Roddick in action and on Tuesday my prayers were answered. Jances was suppose to come as well but she had labs. BUUTTTT, there's still next year dear! I can promise you that :)
Ferrero VS Grosjean was the opening match. Unfortunately, Grosjean retired at the beginning of the second set because of problems with his right shoulder.
Sebastian Grosjean
Juan Carlos Ferrero (Roche)And then the match I've been waiting for years to watch. Roddick VS Vliegen. Roddick had a walkover in the first round so this was his first match. He won the first set 6-1 in 18 minutes. If you think his serves are amazing on telly, imagine how breathtaking it was to watch it in real life.

Kristof VliegenDuring this match, I was told off by the old lady behind me to stop taking photos because "The shutter sound is too distracting" Haha. So I stopped taking photos for a bit.
chanel handbags It was my fault but I was shooting away because the game wasn't very intense. Roddick cruised through this match, winning in straight sets.
I didn't get to take any photos of the next match because I didn't want to piss the old lady behind me.
Blake VS Ljubicic. Blake played really well and Ljubicic was just no match.
Monfils VS Golubev. There was one point in the match where I thought Golubev was going to win it but Monfils put up a good fight. Even though Monfils took a few hard falls and injured his wrist slightly, he played a great game.
Andrey Golubev
Gael MonfilsThe last match of the day was a doubles match. Murray/Hewitt VS Fleming/Skupski. Murray and Hewitt lost in straight sets. Surprisingly, Murray wasn't at his best that night and made quite a few unforced errors.

I managed to take a picture with Bagdatis. He's really sweet in person. I was dividing my time between watching matches on centre court and 'stalking' tennis players as they made their way in and out of Queen's Club. I have a big ass tennis ball filled with signatures and will upload a photo of it soon.Overall, it was a great day! The weather was on our side most of the time although it was pretty chilly. Good luck to Roddick who will be playing 6 feet 10, Karlovic. We have faith in you! Labels: tennis
